ABOUT
Jacob Andrews, colloquially referred to as Andrews, is the former muscle and the equipment manager for the Malvern Exploration and Paranormal Society. Andrews is the one who determines what tools and items are essential for a mission, and proceeds to obtain said items for an upcoming excursion. He commonly carries a crowbar, pry bar, and bolt cutters in the case of an emergency or for other uses, but never for breaking entry to a place or for destructive reasons. Other items he carries include paracord, a first-aid kit, and duct tape.
During missions, he uses his fortitude and strength to move obstructions and debris that may be blocking a crucial point to allow the group to further explore. In addition, he is also the designated person to boost members to an elevated position or open locked or barricaded doors.
Andrews is one of the founding members of the Malvern EPS, along with Brandon Greavu and Seth Richards. Including the exception of earlier outings, the three attended the group's first official mission at the Fairmount Children's Home in Alliance, Ohio. Before his retirement in November 2019, Andrews attended every major mission conducted by the group with the exception of the Weber Dental Company on November 18, 2017.
In November 2019, after the conclusion of the Richman Brothers Company and Willson Middle School missions a few months prior, Andrews made his formal announcement of retiring from the Malvern EPS. His tenure last from 2016 to 2019, and his contract was officially terminated in favor for interim explorer Joey Crowl.
